Bio-Productions a 'green hero'

Bio-Productions has been awarded a Green Heroes Wall Shield in recognition for its pioneering project - Washroom Customer Care and Water Saving – and water saving urinal product the 'Toss Block'.

Also known as Bio Urinal Blocks, their biological cleaning action successfully eradicates blockages and odour problems in all types of urinals and enables customers to save considerable volumes of water as the flushing frequency may be reduced to only two or three times each day.

Bio-Productions claims it produces more urinal blocks than any other European company. The blocks fulfil the requirements of odour control and pipe cleaning and enabling the user to reduce the amount of water used for flushing the urinals amounting to significant water saving.

Bio-Productions primary aim has always been to produce safer-to-use cleaning products.T he firm creates, manufactures and distributes effective cleaning products as viable alternatives to conventional chemicals. By creating safer-to-use products, Bio- Productions says it was immediately labelled as 'green, environmentally friendly' etc. Although not its intention, the result has seen it win environmental awards.

"The fact remains that by producing products which address the problem, and are less dangerous for the users, we have been able to lessen the impact on the environment at the same time," says Bio-Productions MD, Mike James.
