A (pleasant) shock to the cistern
July 16th 2008

PHS Washrooms says its low cost Flush-wiser device saves 30 per cent of flush water by introducing air to the syphon. Fitted at it's own HQ, the firm has saved £1,605 per annum - and 720,000litres of water from just 13 toilets.

For £12 per device (at list price - volume discounts are available), the widget is simple to fit, lasts the lifetime of the toilet and pays for itself in months. "It's a no-brainer," says PHS MD, Ian Osborne. "Companies save, water, money and simultaneously improve their environmental credentials."
